Stacey Dash (born January 20, 1966 in The Bronx, New York) is an American film and television actress of West Indian and Aztec descent. Dash started her career as a child actor on the television series Sesame Street. She later appeared in shows such as the Cosby Show, where she acted beside friend Lisa Bonet, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.[1] Dash's first major film role was in the Richard Pryor comedy Moving in 1988. An important, if obscure, film for Dash is entitled Black Water starring Julian Sands and Johnny Cash. She also had sizeable roles in Mo' Money and Renaissance Man during this time. In 1995 Dash starred as an extremely sexy femme fatale in another obscure movie, Illegal in Blue. Dash received her big break with the film Clueless with Alicia Silverstone. Dash played the teenager Dionne Marie Davenport even though she was 28 at the time. Dash looked much younger than her age and carried off the role quite well.
